The Clarivate 2025 Citation Laureates recognize pioneers in the fields of biomolecular condensates and innate immunity signaling.
Tony Hyman (MPI-MCBG, Germany), Cliff Brangwynne (Princeton University, HHMI, USA) and Mike Rosen (UT Southwestern, USA) have been honored with the Chemistry award for their foundational work in recognizing condensates as an organizational mechanism in cell biology and uncovering the biophysical rules that control their assembly.
Andrea Ablasser (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland), Glen Barber (Ohio State U, USA) and James Chen (UT Southwestern, USA), were recognized with the Physiology or Medicine award for their contributions to decoding the role of the cGAS-STING pathway in innate immunity.
