The first drug intentionally discovered, optimized and developed using a condensate lens enters the clinic. Dewpoint Therapeutics’ DPTX3186 is an orally-available condensate modulator (c-mod) that inhibits the oncogenic function of beta catenin by trapping it into transcriptionally-inactive condensates. DPTX3816 cleared IND in October 2025, and was granted Orphan Drug and Fast Track designations by the FDA. Clinical trials 1a/2a are expected to start in December 2025, targeting gastric cancer as the therapeutic indication.
