Computational approaches are a central pillar in modern biosciences, yet they are often developed with expert users in mind. In this talk, I will discuss my lab’s growing ecosystem of computational tools for understanding disordered proteins and condensate behavior. In particular, I will discuss the types of questions these tools enable us to ask and answer, how best to use them, and their limitations, with specific examples. This talk will be aimed at scientists who traditionally consider themselves “non-computational.”
