The CAI Lab (www.cai-lab.net) at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher with a background in super resolution imaging. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects in the exciting field of phase separation and membrane-less organelles, using various super resolution imaging techniques such as PALM, STORM and SIM.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute experiments in super resolution imaging, focused on phase separation and membrane-less organelles
• Analyze and interpret data
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals
• Mentor and supervise junior lab members as needed
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in physics, biology, biochemistry, or a related field
• Strong expertise in super resolution imaging techniques
• Experience with image processing and analysis software (e.g. MATLAB, ImageJ)
• Excellent writing and presentation skills. First author publication from Ph.D. work.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
