We are looking for a creative, energetic individual to join our High-Throughput Screening (HTS) and In vitro Pharmacology Team, working directly on compound management and lab informatics. In this role you will…

  • Play a key role in in-house compound management coordinating work at external CRO’s and developing a plan for transitioning to a full in-house support model
  • Be an active member of the lab informatics team driving process improvements and enhancing our capabilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and test new process flows and capabilities as well as evaluate new technology and software
  • Lead the creation of compound plates for distribution to in house and external assays
  • Become and expert on key automation and liquid handlers, including fully automated robotic platforms
  • Be a key partner for our chemistry team to prioritize work based on various project's needs
  • Function as an integral member of a key team, driving drug discovery across two sites, one in Boston and the other in Dresden, Germany. Through this role, you will be encouraged to build breadth and depth in your lab capabilities and develop extensive experience in drug discovery
  • Become a valuable contributor to other initiatives as they arise in our fast paced, start up environment 

To do that you will need…

  • A B.Sc. in Science ,Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with chemical or biological information systems, database querying and/or data analysis is ideal
  • Basic hands-on experience with common laboratory operations, liquid handling equipment, and 
    automated plate-based equipment
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in compound management/high throughput screening is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment and experience in mentoring and leading scientific teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, the shared language of our multicultural team
