Advancement of Science announced the approval of their 2021 fellows last month, following the nominations in November last year. This prestigious lifetime honor recognizes scientists that have left an indelible impression on the scientific field, as determined by their peers. The list of new fellows includes condensate scientist Amy Gladfelter of University of North Carolina for her “contributions to the field of cell biology, particularly in the areas of phase-separated condensates and the biophysics of the septin cytoskeleton.”
