In this webinar hosted by Dr. Michael Levin’s group at Tufts University, Dr. Michael Hughes discusses the hydration environment of condensates and how understanding the aqueous phase provides intuition for refining out understanding or cell biology.

The work is published in a review titled “Rethinking Cellular Organization: Phase Separation as a Unifying Principle in Molecular Biology” published in the Journal of Molecular Biology in 2025.
