Researchers from Ze-Xian Liu’s lab, at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, China, submitted their paper about dSCOPE to the bioRxiv preprint server in February 2021. The Liu lab has developed this web server to identify sequences that are critical for a protein to phase separate. This tool also identifies other key features of proteins, such as disorder, hydropathy, and low complexity, among others. My favorite part is the prediction of subcellular location at the bottom of the page—it’s quite cute!
